Well, my partner and I are fixin to go up to Junction City and take down another dangerous tree.
When I looked at this one all I had to say was. . . scary!
I figure it will take me about two hours to rig it and twenty minutes to drop it.
If I do not get killed doing it, that is.
The good thing is that we do not have to haul the wood off.
The homeowner says they will keep it for their fireplace.
An easy day, except my back is killing me and I really do not want to climb today.
But we promised.
That means we have to do it.

I used to hang with a feller that talked just like that! I had to translate for him all the time. 'Specially when he was drunk.
The cutting went well Mi Vida. So well in fact...that we got another job out of it. The neighbors tree! They were amazed that I spent all that time rigging lines, cutting branches to change the balance of the tree, and then came down, made a couple of cuts and the tree fell on a stake I had driven in the ground to mark the spot where I wanted it to hit.
They had bets going between them and I saw money changing hands.
I bet they all bet on me next time!
Oh yeah babes...I need me some o' that good treatment!
